Jessy Dixon, Dottie Rambo – I’ve Never Been This Homesick Before [Live]

There’s a light in the window,
The table’s set in splendor
Someone’s standing by the open door
I can see the crystal river,
I must be near forever
And I’ve never been this homesick before

See the bright light shine, it’s just about home time
I can see my father standing at the door
This whole world’s a wilderness, and I’m ready for deliverance
Lord, I’ve never been this homesick before

I can see my family gathered,
Sweet faces so familiar
Oh. but no one’s old, or feeble anymore
This old lonesome heart is crying,
Soon I’ll spread my wings for flying
And I’ve never been this homesick before

See the bright light shine, it’s just about home time
I can see my father standing at the door
This whole world’s a wilderness, and I’m ready for deliverance
Lord, I’ve never been this homesick before

Woody Wright, Jessy Dixon – One More River [Live]

LYRICS:

I’ve had a lot of troubles and trials
In my little life span
When I’m standing alone
And the battle gets hard
I always do the best I can
I must’ve crossed a million valleys
I must’ve shed a million tears
When I come to the river of Jordan, Halleujah
Then I’ll have no fears,
Then I’ll have no fears

There’s been a lot of people talk about me
Since I’ve walked this narrow way
That’s just another little valley
I come through it when I pray
‘Cause I’ve climbed a lot of high mountains
Crossed a lot of cold streams
When I see ‘ole Jordan cold and dark
That’ll be the last for me,
That’ll be the last for me

One more river to cross
One more mountain to climb
One more valley that I’ve got to go through
Leavin’ my troubles behind
One more battle with the Devil
And I know He’ll understand
I’m going through with Jesus, Halleujah
Holding to His nail scarred hands,
Holding to His nail scarred hands

Jake Hess, Jessy Dixon – Medley: When He Calls, I’ll Fly Away/I’ll Fly Away [Live]

LYRICS:

Well, There once was a time when in my heart,
I was condemned to die.
I was walking in my sinful ways, sinful ways.

Jesus paid the ransom for my soul,
I’ll bid this world goodbye
When He calls me I’ll fly, fly away.

Well, When He calls, I will answer Here am I
I’m ready if He wants me to die
There’s a mansion now waiting me on high
And I’m going there by and by

I have made my preparations
From the world of separation.
I am walking on God’s highway.
When He calls me I’ll fly, fly away

Oh, I could never think of turning back,
Into this world of sin
I’m rejoicing, in this good old gospel way,
I’m lounging for the time
When Heaven I shall enter in
I’m ready should he call, call today

When He calls, I will answer Here am I,
I’m ready if He wants me to die.
There’s a mansion now waiting me on high
And I’m going there by and bye

I have made my preparations
From this world of separation
I am walking on God’s highway.
When He calls me, I’ll fly, fly away,
When He me call I’ll fly, fly away.

Some glad morning when this life is over,
I’ll fly away.
To a home on God’s celestial shore,
I’ll fly away.

I’ll fly away, O Glory,
I’ll fly away. (In the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, bye and bye,
I’ll fly away.

When the shadows of this life are gone,
I’ll fly away.
Like a bird from prison bars has flown
I’ll fly away.

I’ll fly away, O Glory,
I’ll fly away. (In the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, bye and bye,
I’ll fly away.

Just a few more weary days and then,
I’ll fly away.
To a land where joy shall never end,
I’ll fly away.

I’ll fly away, O Glory,
I’ll fly away. (In the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, bye and bye,
I’ll fly away.

Bill & Gloria Gaither – Goodby World, Goodby (Live)

I’ve told all my troubles goodbye,
Goodbye to each tear and each sigh.
This world where I roam cannot be my home,
I’m bound for that home in the sky.
I walk and I talk with my Lord,
I feast every day on His word,
Heaven is near and I can’t stay here
Goodbye world, goodbye.

I won’t have the blues anymore
When I step across to that shore.
And I’ll never pine for I’ll leave behind
My heartaches and cares ever more.
A day maybe two then goodbye,
Goodbye to each sorrow and sigh.
Heaven is near and I can’t stay here,
Goodbye world, goodbye.

Now don’t you weep for me when I’m gone
For I won’t have to leave here alone.
And when I hear that last trumpet sound
My feet won’t stay on the ground.
I’m gonna rise with a shout, gonna fly,
Gonna rise with my Lord in the sky.
Heaven is near and I can’t stay here,
Goodbye world, goodbye.

Janet Pascal – Born Again [Live]

A long, long time ago, I did not know about Jesus and his love.
You see I heard about it, but I never felt it, this manna that comes from above.
And this life of sin, i could no longer stand. I asked my mother, “How can I get to know this man”
She said, “You must be, can’t you see, you’ve got to be born again.”

You must have that firing Holy Ghost.
That prayer wheel turning keeps the fire burning
That kind of experience you know you can feel
It makes move, makes you shout, makes you cry because it’s real
Keep your hand in the masters hand
Til’ your soul’s been anchored in Jesus name
Filled within, free from sin, you’ve got to be born again

Oh so many toils and dangers, that my Lord has brought me through
Jesus opened blinded eyes, and made the lame to walk, there’s nothing to hard for God to do
So now is the time, you must seek him, and let him fill your soul within
He’ll make you whole, and save your soul, then you’ll know your born again

Joy Gardner, Jessy Dixon, Janet Paschal – Born Again (Live)

Long, long time ago, I did not know about Jesus and his love.
You see I heard about it, but I never felt it, this manna that comes from above.
In this life of sin, I could no longer stand… I asked my mother, “How could I get to know this man?”
She said, “You must be, can’t you see, you’ve got to be born again.”

Let me tell you:

You must have that firing Holy Ghost,
That prayer wheel turning keeps the fire burning
That kind of experience you know you can feel
It makes you move, makes you shout, makes you cry ’cause it’s real…
Keep your hand in the master’s hand
Til’ your soul’s been anchored in Jesus name
Filled within, free from sin, you’ve got to be born again.

Oh so many toils and dangers, that my Lord has brought me through
Jesus opened blinded eyes, and made the lame to walk, there’s nothing too hard for God to do…
So now is the time, you must seek him, and let him fill your soul within
He’ll make you whole, and save your soul, then you’ll know you’re born again

The Happy Goodmans – I Believe He’s Coming Back [Live]

High upon a mountain, from where He ascended.
An angel of The Lord declared that it would be.
He said “Don’t stand here grieving for the one that you see leaving.
In like manner He’s coming back for you and me.

Chorus:
And I believe He’s coming back like He said.
I believe that a trumpet’s gonna sound so loud
One day it’ll was the dead.
In the twinkling of an eye,
He’ll split the eastern sky.
And I believe that He’s coming back like He said.

Verse 2:
I believe the time is nearing,
We’ll soon see His appearing.
Well this could be the hour, and this could be the day.
When the saints from every nation,
Gonna loose gravitation.
In the middle of the air be caught away.

Chorus:
And I believe that He’s coming back like He said.
I believe that a trumpets gonna sound so loud,
One day it’ll wake up the dead.
In the twinkling of an eye,
He’s gonna split the eastern sky.
And I believe that He’s coming back like He said.

I believe that He’s coming back like he said!

Jake Hess – Too Much to Gain to Lose [Live]

Too many miles behind me
Too many trials are through
Too many tears help me remember
There’s just too much to gain to lose.

Too many sunsets lie behind the mountain
Too many rivers my feet have walked through
Too many treasures are waiting over yonder
There’s just too much to gain to lose.

I’ve crossed the hot burning desert
Struggling the right road to choose
But somewhere up ahead, there’s cool, clear water
And defeat is one word I don’t use.

Too many sunsets lie behind the mountain
Too many rivers my feet have walked through
Too many treasures are waiting over yonder
There’s just too much to gain to lose

There’s just too much to gain to lose.

Bill & Gloria Gaither – That Old-Time Preacher Man (Live)

Well I went down to the big camp meeting, but it was most for to see the sights.
But I got such a hearty greeting, that I went back every night…
They had an old time Gospel preacher, from the Good Book he solemnly read
But when he starting preaching about soul salvation, you oughta heard the things he said…

You oughta heard him, when he preached the blessed holy word…
You oughta heard him, such preachin’, you have never heard
Well he looked the congregation right straight in the face
And then he started preachin about saving grace..
He preached about an hour about the Sermon on the Mount.
And when he ended up, he had the devil on the route…
You oughta heard him, that old time preacher man..

He led three songs for the congregation and knelt in a word of prayer
He turned to Chapter 5 in Matthew and he took his text from there…
He preached the real old time salvation and he suddenly proved himself
For after he extended the invitation, there wasn’t many sinners left…

You oughta heard him, when he preached the blessed holy word…
You oughta heard him, such preachin’, you have never heard
Well he looked the congregation right straight in the face
And then he started preachin’ about saving grace..
He preached about an hour about the Sermon on the Mount.
And when he ended up, he had the devil on the route…

You oughta heard him, when he preached the blessed holy word…

You oughta heard him, such preachin’, you have never heard
Well he looked the congregation right straight in the face
And then he started preachin’ about saving grace..
He preached about an hour about the Sermon on the Mount.
And when he ended up, he had the devil on the route…

You oughta heard him, that old time preacher man..
That old time preacher man

Bill & Gloria Gaither – He Will Lead His Children Home (Live)

We read and heard the story in the Blessed Old Book,
How the walls of Jericho the people marched round,
And when that trumpet sounded, how the mighty walls shook,
Walls around the city came a-tumblin down.

The Lord delivered Daniel from the hungry lions’ den.
He rolled the waters back before old Moses and his men.
He led the people out of Egypt’s bondage and it’s sin.
The Lord, He calmed the ocean and the mighty winds that blew.
He saved the Hebrew children from the fiery furnace, too.
He rose up from the grave just like the prophets said He’d do.
He Never will forsake us, matter not what may come.
Safely He will lead His faithful children on home.

The Lord has raised the dead and caused the blind men to see.
Cleansed the lepers spots and turned the water to wine.
The Lord’s the same today and now forever will be.
There’s no other power like the Savior Divine.

Safely He will lead His faithful children on home.
Safely He will lead His faithful children on home.

The Lord said, “Brother Jonah, go to Ninevah land”
But he disobeyed the Lord by hidin’ away
Then Jonah got converted to obey the command
From the whale the Lord delivered him on that day

Bill & Gloria Gaither – Boundless Love [Live] ft. The Cathedrals

LYRICS:

There is not a mother, sister, friend, or brother
Loves the way that Jesus can
He proved His love for me when He died on Calvary
He gave His life for fallen man

His love (His love) is a boundless love
And it reaches down and touches me
His love (He love) is an endless love
That will last for all eternity

Jesus wants to love you, there is none above you
You are precious in His sight
He will never fail you when the doubts assail you
He’ll be with you day and night

Jesus wants to love you, there is none above you
You are precious in His sight
He will never fail you when the doubts assail you
He’ll be with you day and night

Trying to Get a Glimpse [Live]

LYRICS:

Chorus
Standing by the river, Gazing cross the raging tide
Standing by the river, trying to get a glimpse
of whats over on the other side, other side.

Standing on the banks of the river
Looking beyond, looking beyond (The river, Ooh)
Standing on the banks of the river
Looking for a home, Looking for a home (To Heaven, Ahh)
Just to get a glimpse of my Jesus
And that home up there on high
Looking for the light of my Savior
Up in the sky

(Repeat Chorus)

Standing there waiting for the boat man
Ready to go, ready to go (To heaven , Ooh)
Standing there waiting for the boatman
On that shore, On that shore (Of Jordan, Ahh)
Just to get a glimpse of that city
And behold my Savior there
Then I”ll know forever I’ll be In my Saviors care.

Well I was standing on the banks
When I saw that old ship take my momma home
I was standing on the banks when daddy
Crossed the river and left me all alone
Now I’m standing on the banks
Just waiting for my ride to heavens golden shore
And I’m, trying to get a glimpse of what’s over on the other side

9 – NDE – una breve intervista al prof. Enrico Facco

Joey+Rory – I Need Thee Every Hour (Live)

10

I need thee every hour
Most gracious Lord
No tender voice like thine
Can peace afford

I need thee oh I need thee
Every hour I need thee
Oh bless me now my savior
I come to thee

I need thee every hour
Stay thou near by
Temptations loose their power
When thou art nigh

I need thee oh I need thee
Every hour I need thee
Oh bless me now my savior
I come to thee

I need thee every hour
Most holy one
Oh make me thine indeed
Thou blessed son

I need thee oh I need thee
Every hour I need thee
Oh bless me now my savior
I come to thee

Oh I need thee

I need thee

Oh bless me now my savior

I come to thee10

Bill & Gloria Gaither – Up Above My Head [Live]

Up above my head I hear music in the air
Up above my head there’s a melody so bright
And fair
I can hear when I’m all alone
Even in those times when I feel all hope is gone
Up above my head I hear joybells ringing
Up above my head I hear angels singing
There must be a God somewhere
There must be a God somewhere

I hear music in the air
I hear music everywhere
There must be a God somewhere

Ann Downing and Naomi Sego Reader – Jesus, Hold My Hand [Live]

As I travel through this pilgrim land
There is a friend who walks with me
Leads me safely through the sinking sand
It is the Christ at Calvary

This would be my prayer, dear Lord, each day
You help me do the best I can
For I need Thy light to guide me day and night
Blessed Jesus, hold my hand

Jesus, hold my hand
For I need Thee every hour
Through this pilgrim land
Protect me by Thy power

Hear my feeble plea
O Lord, look down on me
When I kneel in prayer
I hope to meet You there
Blessed Jesus, hold my hand

Let me travel in the light divine
That I may see the blessed way
Keep me that I may be wholly Thine
And sing ‘Redemption’s Song’ some day

I will be a soldier brave and true
And ever firmly take a stand
As I onward go and daily meet the foe
Blessed Jesus, hold my hand

Jesus, hold my hand
‘Cause I need Thee every hour
Through this pilgrim land
Protect me by Thy power

Hear my feeble plea
And O Lord look down on me
When I kneel in prayer
I hope to meet You there
Blessed Jesus, hold my hand

When I kneel in prayer
I hope to meet You there
Blessed Jesus, hold my hand

Calvin Newton – Keep On the Firing Line [Live]

If you’re in the battle for the Lord and right,
Keep on the firing line;
If you win, my brother, surely you must fight,
Keep on the firing line;
There are many dangers that we all must face,
If we die still fighting it is no disgrace;
Cowards in the service will not find a place,
So keep on the firing line.
Refrain:
Oh, you must fight, be brave against all evil,
Never run, nor even lag behind;
If you would win for God and the right,
Just keep on the firing line.
God will only use the soldier He can trust,
Keep on the firing line;
If you’ll wear a crown then bear the cross you must,
Keep on the firing line.
Life is but to labor for the Master dear,
Help to banish evil and to spread good cheer;
Great you’ll be rewarded for your service here,
So keep on the firing line.
When we get to heaven, brother, we’ll be glad,
Keep on the firing line;
How we’ll praise the Savior for the call we had,
Keep on the firing line;
When we see the souls that we have helped to win,
Leading them to Jesus, from the paths of sin,
With a shout of welcome, we will all march in,
So keep on the firing line.

Jim Hamill – Gettin’ Ready to Leave This World [Live]

1. Laying up my treasures in that home above
Trusting, fully trusting in the Savior’s love;
Doing what I can for heaven’s Holy Dove
I’m a getting ready to leave this world.
CHORUS:

I’m getting ready to leave this world,
(I’m a getting ready to leave this world of sorrow)
Getting ready for gates of pearl;
(I’m a getting ready for the gates of pearl)
Keeping (my record bright)
Watching, (both day and night)
I’m getting ready to leave this world.
(I’m a getting ready to leave this sinful world)

2. Trusting in the riches of His saving grace,
In each earthly trial I His love can trace.
Sure that up in heaven I shall find a place,
I’m a getting ready to leave this world.

CHORUS:

3. To prepare a mansion, Jesus said, “I’ll go,
If it were not true I would have told you so,”
Just a little while to linger here below,
I’m a geting ready to leave this world.

Monday (January 6): From darkness and death to light and life

Daily Reading & Meditation

Monday (January 6): From darkness and death to light and life

Scripture: Matthew 4:12-17,23-25  (for the Feast of Epiphany see Matthew 2:1-12)

12 Now when he heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew into Galilee; 13 and leaving Nazareth he went and dwelt in Capernaum by the sea, in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali, 14 that what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: 15 “The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, toward the sea, across the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles — 16 the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and for those who sat in the region and shadow of death  light has dawned.” 17 From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
23 And he went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every  infirmity among the people. 24 So his fame spread throughout all Syria, and they brought him all the sick, those afflicted with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, and paralytics, and he healed them. 25 And great crowds followed him from Galilee and the Decapolis and Jerusalem and Judea and from beyond the Jordan.

Meditation: Do you know the joy and freedom of the good news (Gospel) of the kingdom of God? John the Baptist’s enemies had sought to silence him, but the good news of God’s kingdom of salvation cannot be silenced. As soon as John had finished his testimony Jesus began his in Galilee. Galilee was at the crossroads of the world and much traffic passed through this little region. It had been assigned to the tribes of Asher, Naptali and Zebulum when the Israelites first came into the land (see Joshua 9). For a long time it had been under Gentile occupation (non-Jewish nations).

Jesus brings the light and truth of salvation to the world
The prophet Isaiah foretold that the good news of salvation would reach Jews and Gentiles in the “land beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations” (Isaiah 9:1). Jesus begins the proclamation of the Gospel here to fulfill the word of God. The Old Testament prophets spoke of God’s promise to send a Redeemer who would establish God’s rule. That time is now fulfilled in Jesus who brings the light and truth of the Gospel to the world.

The “good news” brings peace, hope, truth, promise, immortality, and salvation
Jesus takes up John’s message of repentance and calls his hearers to believe in the good news he has come to deliver. What is the good news which Jesus brings? It is the good news of peace – the Lord comes to reconcile and restore us to friendship with God. The good news of  hope – the Lord comes to dwell with us and to give us a home with him in his heavenly kingdom. The good news of  truth – the Lord Jesus sets us free from the lies and deception of Satan and opens our mind to understand the truth and revelation of God’s word (John 8:32). The good news of promise – Jesus fulfills the promise of God to reward those who seek him with the treasure of heaven. The good news of immortality – Jesus overcomes sin and death for us in order to raise our lowly bodies to be like his glorious body which will never die again. And the good news of salvation – the Lord Jesus delivers us from every fear, every sin, and every obstacle that would keep us from entering his everlasting kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy.

The Gospel is the power and the wisdom of God – both power to change and transform our lives and wisdom to show us how to live as sons and daughters of our Father in heaven. Through the gift of the Holy Spirit the Lord makes it possible for us to receive his word with faith and to act upon it with trust and obedience.

The Gospel demands a response of faith and obedience to God’s gift of salvation
In announcing the good news, Jesus makes two demands: repent and believe! Repentance requires a change of course – a turning away from sin and disobedience and a turning towards the Lord with faith and submission to his word of truth and righteousness (right living according to God’s truth and moral goodness). The Holy Spirit gives us a repentant heart, a true sorrow and hatred for sin and its bad consequences (the wages of sin is death – Romans 6:23), and a firm resolution to avoid whatever would lead us into sin. The Holy Spirit gives us grace to see our sin for what it is – rebellion and a rejection of the love of God. God’s grace helps us to turn away from all that would keep us from his love.

Faith or belief is an entirely free gift which God makes to us. Believing is only possible by grace and the help of the Holy Spirit who moves the heart and converts it to God. The Holy Spirit opens the eyes of the mind and makes it possible for us to accept and to grow in our understanding of the truth. Through the gift of the Holy Spirit we can know God personally and the truth he reveals to us through his only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. To believe that Jesus is Lord and Savior is to accept God’s revelation of his Son as the eternal Word of God and the Redeemer who delivers us from the tyranny of sin, Satan, and death. God the Father made the supreme sacrifice of his Son on the cross to atone for our sins and to bring us back to himself.

Do you want to grow in the knowledge of God’s love and truth? Ask the Holy Spirit to renew in you the gift of faith, the love of wisdom, and the heart of a disciple who desires to follow the Lord Jesus and his will for your life.

“Lord Jesus, your ways are life and light!  Let your word penetrate my heart and transform my mind that I may see your power and glory. Help me to choose your ways and to do what is pleasing to you.”

Psalm 2:7-8,10-11

7 I will tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to me, “You are my son; today I have begotten you.
8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession.
10 Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear, with trembling
12 kiss his feet, or he will be angry, and you will perish in the way; for his wrath is quickly kindled. Happy are all who take refuge in him.

Daily Quote from the early church fathersThe true light of revelation to the Gentiles, by Chromatius (died 406 AD)

“The Evangelist commemorated in this passage the prophet’s words: ‘Beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles: the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light’ (Matthew 4:15-16) In what darkness? Certainly in the profound error of ignorance. What great light did they see? The light concerning which it is written: ‘He was the true light that illumines everyone who comes into this world’ (John 1:9) This was the light about which the just man Simeon in the Gospel declared, ‘A light of revelation to the Gentiles and a glory for your people Israel’ (Luke 2:32). That light had arisen according to what David had announced, saying, ‘A light has arisen in the darkness to the upright of heart’ (Psalm 112:4).

“Also, Isaiah demonstrated that light about to come for the enlightenment of the church when he said, ‘Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you’ (Isaiah 60:1). Concerning that light also Daniel noted, ‘It reveals the profound and hidden things, knowing those things which are in darkness and the light is with it’ (Daniel 2:22), that is, the Son with the Father, for even as the Father is light, so too is the Son light. And David also speaks in the psalm: ‘In your light shall we see light’ (Psalm 36:9), for the Father is seen in the Son, as the Lord tells us in the Gospel: ‘Who sees me, sees the Father’ (John 14:9) From the true light, indeed, the true light proceeded, and from the invisible the visible. “He is the image of the invisible God,” as the apostle notes (Colossians 1:15).” (excerpt from TRACTATE ON MATTHEW 15.1)

[Note: Chromatius was an early Christian scholar and bishop of Aquileia, Italy. He was a close friend of John Chrysostom and Jerome. He died in 406 AD. Jerome described him as a “most learned and most holy man.”]

Daily Reflection

As we still bask in the glow of the Epiphany, let us call to mind a single moment in our life that knocked us off our seat, propelled us forward, or set our inner flame burning in such a way that we could no longer sit still—a revelation, a realization, a disclosure, an illuminating discovery that revealed meaning or purpose.  The Gospel said that when Jesus heard what happened to John the Baptist, he made his move, he began his ministry, he went about preaching, teaching, and healing.  When we are called and we are woken up from our spiritual slumber, this is how we can know the Spirit of God: even if we are afraid, we know what we must do because the call of God can only be heard by those who belong to him.  It is so because we are Children of God.

The first reading cautions us not to trust every spirit and to test the spirits that confront us to see if they belong to God.  In the Gospel, Jesus knew that the Spirit that prompted him to begin his ministry was the voice of God, but how about us? How can we know for sure when the prompt is of God?  How do I know if the prompt is not false or my ego or my fear or my pride?  How can we test?  I often take my time to think about every decision I make even the smallest one—except of course the decision on whether to have a piece of chocolate or not—that thought process doesn’t take very long, but when it comes to deeper more spiritual things or life decisions, I spend time hoping I would hear a voice loud and clear telling me what to do, and that I would know right away that it was God giving me the go-ahead.  Despite my uncertainty, I usually know when the time is right to get up and start afresh, or let go, or go ahead, mainly because I believe that I truly am a Child of God, and God will not let me down—God will lift me up—God will lift us up.  As the first reading tells us, we belong to God and we have already conquered the spirit of the antichrist because the Spirit of God resides in us and the Spirit of God is much greater than the spirit of the worldly.  So, when that single moment happens in our life, that moment that knocks us off our seat of false comfort, let us not be afraid to go forth into the unknown and trust that God will provide for us exactly what we need to succeed, make a difference, and fulfill our sacred purpose.

Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. John 15:1415

When ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants. Luke 17:10

Nothing is impossible

“Amen I say to you that whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou removed and be cast into the sea, and shall not stagger in his heart, but be believe that whatsoever he saith shall be done; it shall be done unto him.” Mark 11: 23

Jesus said “in truth I tell you”. Isn’t it a fact that Jesus (God) is saying only the truth and always the truth? It is! So why he said “in truth”? To stress importance of this statement! To draw your attention and say: behold what I’m saying! To tell you that you must believe in what He says right now.

Another question – why did He use a mountain as an example? To lay emphasis that nothing is impossible! Completely nothing! Even things which are naturally impossible (moving a mountain would be definitely one of them) are possible for God!

Jesus is saying to you that there are no limits in what you can receive from God when you believe Him in your heart; when you believe without a doubt. Everything is possible. Anything you desire. So get rid of your doubts ones and for all; start believing God today.

Whatever is your need, you can have it all. Whatever is your problem it can be removed out of your way, forever. All is possible. All possible by a single act of faith with no doubt attached to it! Remember faith with no doubt!

God is not holding things from you; He is keeping them for you so you can have them when you will need them. Do not hesitate, believe and receive! Believe and receive are very important words. If you believe that you have received when you pray, you will get it. If you have doubts when you pray (will God give it to me?), you will get nothing. And remember Jesus told us to pray that way. You have only one choice today – to be obedient and trust Him with no doubts.
